2018 Hospitality Development

The Kennedy Building

The project consisted of remodeling the existing three-story historical building with approximately 6,284 SF of livable space. The existing walls are wood stud walls, conventional roof, and floor framing, and conventional concrete spread footing. Some of the upgrades done were the footings, the interior and exterior stairs, relocation of wall openings for doors and windows, and converting the crawl space into a wine cellar.

Aerial Walkway

The project consisted of reviewing and overseeing the design and special structural inspection requirements for the 200ft Arial Walkway Bridge and Via Ferrata.


Sky View Cabins

The project consisted of partially prefabricated cabins with a sky view on the roof.


Casitas

The project consists of 14 individual Casitas with two models, a standard Unit and a handicap unit, both unit types are wood framing with CMU Walls at retaining conditions, the roof is a mono-slope roof system, and conventional concrete spread footings. The square footage of both units are 525sf livable, 340sf covered porch, 12sf mechanical room, 117sf outdoor hot tub patio (no roof), and 32sf mechanical unit enclosure – Total square footage 1,026sf


Barn & Water Tower

This project consisted of restoring the existing steel barn and a new water tower.


Upper Hot Springs

This part of the project consisted of a cabana with access to the hot springs, and an underground water tank to store the hot spring to supply with spring water throughout the resort.


Stone Building

This project consisted of restoring and remodeling existing stone building into a Chapel. The existing building was masonry walls and conventional spread footing. New Steel Roof and wall openings were added.

Chevron Gas Station

A new gas station features a 2,860 sq. ft. convenience store, a 3,256 sq. ft. fueling canopy with 6 stations, a propane tank and filling station, air and water station, landscaping, and parking. Construction includes CMU, stucco, aluminum storefronts, and metal deck with steel joists.

Cowboy Church

The facility includes a 4,380 sq. ft. sanctuary with seating for 275, a stage, sound booth, and storage areas. The sanctuary has been remodeled to feature larger restrooms and open space. Parking is available, including designated overflow areas.

Dixon Golf

A new 10,000 sq. ft. facility for Dixon Golf includes office space (500 sq. ft.), production/manufacturing (3,500 sq. ft.), and warehouse use (6,000 sq. ft.), along with a reception area, conference room, kitchen, ADA restrooms, and a fire riser room. Site work includes new asphalt parking, canopies, a dumpster enclosure, concrete apron, landscaping, H/C ramp, and sidewalks. The west lot is reserved for future expansion.

Andrews Plumbing

This site will serve as the new headquarters for Andrew’s Refrigeration in Phoenix, Arizona. The project includes a 15,000 SF office with 17,500 SF of warehousing, a 6,000 SF auto repair facility, a 5,000 SF HVAC fabrication/storage building, and a 600 SF chiller building. The site will support company operations with truck wash bays, storage areas, and vehicle parking, all enclosed by an 8-foot masonry screen wall. Buildings will be prefabricated metal with natural lighting via clearstory windows.
